Courtenay Place has emerged from a mess of bus shelters and old-school Chinese restaurants to become the main nightlife strip in town. Courtenay Central has attempted to make it more "family friendly", but it's still a noisy mix of bars, theatres and restaurants. The area south of Courtenay Place still has a lot of light industry and warehousing, but apartments have started to sprout on top of old buildings and there's even a couple of decent bars on Tory St. |
